Seeing as my birthday has come and gone, and Sean's has come and gone as well, I think it's about time I actually do something with my site. I really need to rework it: change some things, add some things, etc. I used to love doing site stuff. I still enjoy it, but I don't really have the desire to do it. That's pretty well how I feel about most things. For some reason I can't seem to really get into anything. It makes it hard to figure out what I want to do with my free time. I need to force myself to finish reading my book. I'm about halfway through it and I haven't read it in a few days. Once I finally finish it, I need to read my other Dean Koontz book that I got for my birthday. Then I'll have to reread the last Harry Potter book seeing as I've forgotten almost everything that happened in it. Sean asked me a question that's answered in the last book, not some minor thing either, and I answered him wrong. I will definitely have to read it again before seeing the last two films.

My birthday present from Sean this year was the Retro Mini X handheld NES. For the life of me I can't find where we bought it from. It was only $50 and it came with 2 cordless controlers, a light gun, and of course a cable to hook it up to your tv. I can find the Retro Mini just fine, but I got the revised one. Oh well. I also ended up getting the latest Dean Koontz book, Revolutionary Road blu-ray, Taken blu-ray, Nintendo DSi, a gift card to New York and Company, and some money. Plus I got The Sims 3 from Sean, but we bought it the day it came out instead of waiting for my birthday. Sean's birthday present from me was Movie Magic Screenwriter Version 6 since he's writing screenplays. Then of course we have our Christmas present planned out already. This year we're buying a new headboard and all for our bed. We've had it picked out for quite a while now, but never got around to buying it since we kept buying other things for the house. That and last year's gift was our retro booth for our dining room. Everyone loves it too.

I probably need to give my parents and sister a call since I haven't talked to them in over a month. I only know it's been that long since I haven't told them that we have fish. Sean and I had been wanting fish since we moved in together. Now that it's been 5 years, we finally broke down and bought some fish. We bought a 5 gallon tank since it was going to fit perfectly on our new table in our living room. While we were buying all of the supplies, I looked at fish and had mine picked out a day before we bought the fish. I had never seen a Calico Goldfish before. Since I picked a type of goldfish, Sean pretty well had to go with a goldfish as well. His is a Telescope Calico Goldfish. His is Edward, named after our favorite actor Edward Norton, and mine is Jasmine. I did not name her after anyone, but Sean's first thought was the movie Aladdin. Our fish are weird. Apparently any pet we get is going to be weird. Edward likes to suck up air from the top of the tank and then spit out bubbles. Jasmine likes to swim to the top and dive to the bottom repeatedly. I thought the cat would be extremely interested in the fish and want to get on the table next to the tank, but she doesn't care about them in the least. She does get jealous if we go over to the tank and watch the fish. Apparently she doesn't like for anything else to have our attention.
