The last post was June 24. That makes me sad. Melissa and Brad's wedding has come and gone, summer is over, and I now have Ski here.

I emailed Double-Cola and asked them where Ski was being distributed around my area. I got a response back with a phone number for the distributor for my area. I called the distributor and they told me the three places in my city that carry Ski. The one grocery store is like five minutes down the road from me. We have to take the Cavalier and go in the middle of the day because it's a ghetto store and had bars on the windows, but we have Ski! Unfortunately they don't seem to have Cherry Ski in stock very often. It was there the first time we went, but it hasn't been there since. Hopefully they'll get it back in. Sean even took a Ski to someone he works with and got them hooked on it. If you like Mountain Dew a lot, then try Ski if you can find it. It's very similar, but has a more unique and stronger flavor. We have a case of Mountain Dew in the cabinet, and I'm not sure we'll drink it now. Sean drank a Mt. Dew like a day or two after drinking a Ski, and said he couldn't go back since it tasted weak.

I had a nice trip back to Illinois in July. I am apparently going to feel sick every time that I fly without Sean. I have no problem with flying. I did it all the time with my family before I moved to Alabama. I've realized that it is because I'm flying without Sean. I have thoughts that something horrible is going to happen, and I'll never see him again. Thinking about it, just to type it, makes my eyes water. It wasn't quite as bad the day that I flew back, but I still felt sick. I ended up buying a $3 bottle of water in the airport on the way to Illinois. Airports are expensive. I did however have to buy a Cinnabon in the Atlanta airport on the way back since we don't have one anywhere near us. I also ate at Steak-n-Shake while in IL. since ours closed. I miss there shakes and cheese fries. Maybe they'll come back one day.

It would seem that a decent size area of land that is across the road from our subdivision has changed from a residential zoning to commercial. They are aparently planning on putting in a bunch of stores. I'm assuming that will also mean that restaurants will be going over there as well. Wal-Mart is also supposed to be coming to this side of town and could possibly go in that area. I would love to have Wal-Mart like a minute away. We go grocery shopping there, get games, toys, and some clothes. That would be so incredibly convenient. I'm very excited about this new development. It's hard to say when they'll actually start putting things in over there though. There's a lot of development going on in this city, and it's both good and bad. It means we have more places to shop and eat, but it also means more traffic. That is the only downside. People down here don't know how to drive, like at all, so I'm not sure how they're going to do when traffic picks up. In fact, someone almost hit Sean the other day. He was just driving along, there was a bit of traffic, and he had a few cars in front of him, behind him, and in the other lane. Well some idiot in a truck decided they wanted to get in his lane, right where Sean was. The truck started to get in his lane, so Sean had to slam on the brakes and swerve into the median to avoid the guy from taking out the front half of the car. The guy just kept on going like nothing happened, and then a minute later got back into the lane he was originally in. This is why I worry every time I drive the RX-8. People just don't know how to drive.

I seem to have lost my little arrows that pointed right. It used to be & # 174 (without the spaces) in symbol font. It has changed to ®, and I have absolutely no idea when that happened. How odd! Now I don't know what to change it to. I guess I may go with: ». It just isn't the same though. And I'm not crazy. Check out some of my past layouts, and you can clearly see that it is arrows in my menus. You can see it in layout 26, 20, 19, and 17.
